: well I just wanted you to know.

: My wife and I would like to announce the graduation(in 2 weeks)of our
: daughter, Kelly, from the University of Florida, the Department of
: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, College of Medicine. Kelly attended
: her final doctoral dissertation defense Tuesday, giving a 45 minute
: lecture on "Transcription and Transcriptional Control in the Human
: beta-Globin Locus" after which all of the professors on her committee
: signed off on her completion of the course. Kelly will be doing her
: post-doc at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.

: Kelly has been a student at UF for the past 9 years and we are so very proud
: of her accomplishment. I feel that we have reached the end of one era and
: are now embarking on another.
