Hi,

Just got back from the first paddle in the Sea Rider Folder.
I decided to try my first shrink wrap skin heavily reinforced with clear duct
tape at the bow and stern. it's kind of cool seeing your feet as you paddle.

Anyway, all went well. My biggest surprise was the stability of this
relatively narrow hull ( 19.5"). I had intended to do about 30 minutes,
but the boat was so stable and agile that my 30 minutes turned into 3 hours.

The makeshift coaming will be replaced with one made of Carbon Fiber and the
temporary shrink wrap will be replaced with a PVC skin with zipper closure.

Thanks to everyone for the shrink wrap idea, and the great Greenland kayak
info. Of the 10 boats I've made in the past 2 years, this one is the most fun to paddle.
