: I finally put my guillemot in the water. Everything is finished except the
: varnish. My problem is the boat wants to drift a little to the left. While
: I was paddling a memory popped into my head. The piece of plywood I used
: for the forms was a little warped. I didn't think it would be a problem
: because the forms were small. But the end form had a slight curve to it
: (not much so I used it anyway). Now I think that might be my problem. Does
: anyone have any comments or solutions?

: Thanks
: Mark

I built a CLC boat that had the sam problem. After I was sure it is the boat I began taping a larger and larger pad of duct tape on to the aft end until I had just enough to keep the boat straight. I then made a duplicate out of wood, feathered out and glued it on. It worked really well and was noticable only when I pointed it out.

You might add a fixed skeg, or shift your weight
