Nice job on The Night Heron. I added a smill skeg on my Guillemot. I used a 3/4 strip left over from building, maybe 18" to 24" long. I just epoxied it on the bottom. I have plans to make a retractable skeg later this winter as I don' think the skeg I put on will take much abuse. Then again I may plane it off and find that I don't need it as I'm new to the sport.
