In Response To: Other: NSI Backband Experience? (Gini)

I have two of the NSI backbands. One in a completed Arctic Tern 14 and one on the shelf for an Osprey.

The bands are very confortable and have an adjustable lumbar support. I thought I would like a full lumbar support, but I keep it at a low level and I am very happy with the feel. The lubar and the band are easily adjusted while in the boat.

I mounted "t-nuts" in the hip plates and used 1/4" stainless fittings to attach to backband.

I started out with just the Termarest pad, but now I have foam on order to make a custom seat.
