: I started last fall & found it to be a great winter project - there must be a lot of others who follow the same time line ie: start in fall & finish in spring/summer as the posting seem to follow this time line - in the fall there were many regarding cutting strips, building strong back's, planking etc. & now there seem to be a lot about varnishing, first time in water etc etc. - bottom line - go for it - it's a very rewarding experience & if you can get your partner involved as I was able to - all the better - the extra pair of hands is great, but the extra "mind" is even better (as long as you slow down & listen *grin*). cheers..ian
