: We have the skin on and are ready to start sealing tomorrow! The skin went on
: with very few hitches and we should have it all ready for debut at R2K3. I
: was down on the coast this weekend and picked up a couple of crab pot
: floats for the outrigger (I am using an early attempt at a Greenland
: paddle for the crosspiece). My daughter has really gotten into the project
: and feels great ownership over the boat. The stats for the boat are: LOA -
: 10' 11 1/8"
: Beam - 17 5/8"
: Weight - Final is unknown, it is currently about 10-12 lbs.

: The detailed construction process is shown on my site.

: Regards,

: Marcel

Your daughter should enjoy the paddling the boat as much as she seemed to enjoy the building process! What a great project for the two of you. :)
