Yep... However My wife felt blessed that I had something to do that wasn't so expensive, was very time consuming, And didn't involve drinking and watching T.V. ( try drinking and making a tight fitting taper, with a sharp tool!) Plus the bonus of a exersise machine... ( Sure beats HBO.) And that I can Fish from!
And yes it is addictive... I started mine in the fall in a heated shop and it was the best anti-depressant for the long winter blues. ( Alaska has LONG, COLD winters.)
In a nut shell... GO FOR IT, Take Your Time, Learn From Your Mistakes. Live with your mistakes & do better on the next kayak.
