Duct tape them to your knees while roofing or installing tile in the kitchen

Duct tape them to the fat cats belly for a skid plate

Glue them on the low overhead beams in your basement...use the blood marks as a guide for placement.....or better yet, just glue them directly to your forehead.

cut them to shape for shoe inserts....or glue them to the bottom of your booties for longer life....not yours, the booties.

: The pack rat scavenger in me came out today. Some of our IT folks responsible
: for equipment were tossing a stack of mouse pads (they seem to reproduce
: like rabbits, don't they).

: So, I'm thinking of uses for them. Here's some "possible" uses I
: came up with... are you folks using them for anything?

: 1. Cement pieces of it where my ankles come in contact with the boat.

: 2. Glue them to a stiffener for a back band (some types of pads are heavy,
: but others are fairly light.

: 3. Cement them to the cheek plates for some extra padding.

: 4. Stand on them when I'm working on the boat, or kneel on them. Sure beats a
: concrete floor!

: 5. I'm making a few pencil cups from short scraps of B&C cedar. Line the
: inside of one with a piece of the pad, and use it as a 12 oz. beverage can
: cooler (we call them "Huggies" around these parts).

: 6. Throw them away and don't admit to anyone that I ever scavenged them.
: Then, seek counseling.
