Thanks for the responses everyone. I guess I have always thought the outer seam tape should be bias cut to lay around the corner better, particularly like the Great Auk's sharp rear deck seam. I will try regular cut, it would certainly be easier. Thanks Patsy for that tape idea, I am going to try that.
