7 1/2" is a great depth. The Romany and Avocet are both very rollable boats and have 8" coaming heights.

My Guillemot was 10.5", and is now 9". If I wanted to go lower, I think I'd follow Nick's directions next time and simply build the deck at its original height (or maybe even lower).

On your photo, I think you copied the SSTIKS gallery page URL instead of the photo URL (with .jpg extension)
