: 3' seas is impressive!
The seas were certainly strong 2' and there were times, I'd say it was 3'. It sure felt like 3'!
There were a lot of wind waves and boat traffic swell that made it rather sketchy for me. Truthfully, though I was having a blast, I braced way more than I ever have in the past. I had to get perpendicular to the traffic swell a couple time because it would have swallowed me. The bow of the Cirrus was buried a couple of times.

I wasn't really comfortable at times. Concerned but confident. How's that sound?
I came away from the paddle very satisfied and excited about the seaworthiness of the Cirrus. I really will not go looking to paddle in seas that rough till next season.
