Standard Engineering Answer:

It depends.

Real answer:

You make them up.

What shape do you want? Cut a bunch of plywood pieces the shape you like, and 12" or so apart. Hot glue them in. Strip to suit.

If you want a flat deck, 1x2's or 3/4" square strips from sheer to sheer work great. It sounds tough, but it's easier done than said.
