: Where do you guys get the forms for making the deck on a hybrid? For
: instance, say I wanted to make a hybrid Arctic Tern. Where would I get the
: forms?

: Thanks.

To strip the deck of the Cormorant I built, I started with a form with a radius that gave me the target height I wanted at the front of the cockpit. I think I used a 16" radius. I mounted the form to a 2x4 that was wedged in the bow and attached to a temporary rear bulkhead. I measured off 12" spacing toward the bow and added forms that increased in radius by 2" for each foot. I checked the form closest to my foot position to make sure I had enough clearance for my feet. Had I needed more foot room, I could have increased the radius by a smaller amount. Once you get to about a 22" radius, the form appears almost flat. The rear deck was easy as each form was flat.
