No biggie, it could be worse if the strips were thinner. I always dismension my strips before bead and cove by running them through a planer. Takes a while but the result is worth the effort and the building goes smoother. What the heck, if you are in a hurry to paddle you can always use one of your other kayaks. We all have more than one, don't we?
