: The most elegant solution by far is the floating tenon employed by Mike Hanks
: and Ted Henry. They and a friend used a shaper with a very thin kerf blade
: to remove the inner plys, then glued in a floating mortise. All but
: invisible and super strong. Mr. Henry used to have pictures on his site,
