I may be able to get some pictures this weekend -- but here is what I did.

I cut another set of spacers to match and layed up the two spaces and the flange and glued under the deck after cutting the opening. I was then able to mount rare earth magnets on the flange and the cover and have flush hatches for very little pain.

The foam seal is on the hatch so that loading gear won't tear it up.
