There is a good fly shop in Port Townsend that will have what you need. I don't remember the name, but it is upstairs on the west side of the main drag near the cooking store. I use an 8-weight rod, transparent flyline, and a long leader. Lots of fun when you hook one up.
If you are coming via Bainbridge Island check out the Northwest Angler, formerly of Poulsbo, now in the Safeway shopping center off High School Road about a mile west of the Bainbridge ferry terminal. Troy and the gang have everything you need.
