Yep, it was a perfectly good new boat I'd just put together and tested in the water.

Yes, again. Each bulkhead was stuck in place with blobs of 5-minute epoxy. Thin washers separated the bulkhead while I cut with an 18 tpi hacksaw blade. I had only stuck the two together with sheetrock screws where the bolts will be, so I followed the cut every 6" or so with hot-glued scraps bridging the cut.

I used the center seam as a reference line to make two points (each cut) on the outside edge of the bottom hull panel. Drilled tiny holes and drove in extra-long puch pins, courtesy of Pygmy Boats. That determined left/right. Then, again using the plane of the center seam as best I could, I leveled the boat fore-to-aft. Using a short torpedo level, I made the bulkhead plumb while it was also pushed against the two pins below. Marked it at the top, drilled it, and drove in another pin.
Then I scribed the plane of the perimeter onto the surfaces of the deck and hull. Drilled a few more tiny holes as straight as I could. From the outside I used the holes as guides for scribing my cutting line.
All in all, so far so good, even though the cut did wander here and there, usually less than the 1-mm wide kerf. Slow and easy with the blade, which had small blocks of wood glued to it for a better grip.
What I hadn't fully thought out was all the extra fiberglass work I was in for, something like 4 times as many pieces as a normal fully glassed set of bulkheads would be. I'm only about 70% done right now.
Each end of the boat will be held to the cockpit module with 4 bolts, 3/8"SS with fender washers with diameters of about 1.25".

It's not that: I'm just trying to get as much done as I can. I've been taking all kinds of photos, so I can put something more detailed later on.
If it works, that is. We may simply find another example of the difference between should and does.
