I'm wondering what kind of response we could get if we had a Texas area gathering....though everyone would be invited. The gathering to include wood, strip, S&G, SOF, etc., built kayaks, canoes, and other paddled craft. While I eventually want to make it to some of the great gatherings in the north east/west...it is simply too far to go right now. I'm considering putting together such a gathering for sometime of april next year. Location up in the air but I'm sure I can find a nice area with facilites, deep water, and a sandy beach for this. Suggestions, ideas, and any input would certainly be appreciated. This is just in the what if stage...but I'll certainly put it together if there is any interest. I know I'm interested. I WANT TO SEE SOME BOATS AND BUILDERS. I'm sure a lot of other people would come out to see just what we do.
