Thanks to all who responded to my post concerning the camping pad/seat. I guess I'll bite the bullet and do it with minicell. I was thinking abt buying enough to do 3 yaks,(seat bottoms, seat backs, hip and thigh braces) but if I buy a 3" full bun, with shipping, it will be over $100. I guess thats not too bad if I can get all 3 boats done for that. Just more than I need to spend on top of everything else thats been going on lately.
FWIW: I did manage to get the inside seams done. Now I'm giving it a couple of days to cure before I remove the tape and start on the outside. I'm hoping to get it finished (except for varnish and, maybe the seat) before I move my daughter to Baltimore. I've still got the outside seams to do, the endpours, and a light sanding over the outside (and maybe a little inside the cockpit) followed by one fill coat. Maybe I'll get it done????
Happy Building.
Charles.
