Not to rub it in or anything, but it was nice day at Fort Worden -- sunny, but not hot, a little breezy (or maybe gusty would be a better word)at times, but not bad. Andrew loved both Dale Frolander' kid sized strip boat and Marcel's, actually Mckinley's, little SOF. Dale's little boat has an arrow design on it with some extreeemely cool bear foot prints. Mckinley's boat is a little twitchy, but Andrew only dumped it once.
I gotta make myself a Sea Spirit -- paddled Bihl's a bunch and it rolls like a dream. I was even did a bunch of hand rolls in it! Great fun. And, of course, there are lots of great boats and even better camaraderie...
The weatherman is threatening a worse day for tomorrow, let's hope he is wrong.
