Charlie,

Perhaps you can generate (measure) your own offsets for intermediate forms from the plans. Or, setup the given stations and measure offsets for intermediate forms when checking fairness. The second option could be more accurate than working off scaled drawings, and it would allow you to try stripping at two foot intervals before deciding it would be too difficult.
