Gerald, Oct 25/26 sounds good.
For locations, have you ever been to Lake Tawakoni? I've never paddled there but the State park (just north of Wills Point) has great camping facilities and a large sandy beach that's normally roped off for swimming but I would think the park rangers would pull the rope for group, since likely no one will be swimming by late Oct.
