I've just applied the first coat of varnish to my Night Heron. I'm curious about how folks prep between coats. Is full sanding necessary if the previous coat is pretty smooth? Is sanding for "tooth" necessary beyond just taking down high spots, specks, etc? Would love to hear even if its "bad" news! By the way, I'm using Z-Spar. Thanks.
