There are some great smaller state parks, such as Purtis Creek near Athens, that do have fish. In fact caught a 5 lb bass out of the kayak a few weeks ago, there. I would suspect that most of the builders will be Houston, Dallas, and Central Texas. Being in Dallas, I would prefer something near here, but do understand that the state does not revolve around Dallas; despite Dallasites strong feelings otherwise. Seriously, I am very flexible. Count me in. I would vote for late April or late October; could even have both.
