Bungee Connecting

How do people connect the two ends of their bungees to make a loop? I’ve looked on Newfound and CLC boats, which have kits and many separate pieces but I can’t determine what (if anything there) is supposed to be used for bungee clipping/attaching.
Also, as a follow up to the previous post: I am also varnishing my Night Heron and I’ve not been sanding between coats, but I believe they were close enough together that it wasn’t necessary (first coat had skinned over but was likely only 50% cured). I ordered my varnish, epoxy, and fibreglass cloth all from a local boat-restoration guy a long time ago and didn’t realize what varnish I had until I got to that stage last weekend. Anyone heard of Sikkens Yachtpaints? There’s 4 languages on the cans but none are english, and with my limited spanish I could make out something about thinning, a few different %’s mentioned, and something to do with how many hours – no help. Their website is down and they haven’t got back my inquiry. If anyone has used this and knows the details of the instructions please fill me in. I’m already 3 ½ coats into this, so it’s probably too late if I’m doing something wrong. It seems to look pretty good though. I'll update with pics someday soon.
