We tested the footpump at R2K3. We filled a 5 gallon carboy with seawater and timed how long it took to pump out. The tank drained in 45 seconds thanks to Marcel's energetic pumping. Anyway, I'm calling it a success. I have a few bugs to work out as far as installation but it is definitely a viable design.
