I'm back in Centralia, WA with family after a great weekend in Port Townsend at R2K3. Thanks to everyone for loaning me equipment to use - Beth for the wetsuit and pfd, Don for the paddles, and everyone with boats who so graciously let me paddle them.

Joe is promising that his next project is a "Queen" or a downsized King and it's hard to imagine a boat I'd like better. So I'm hoping I can get that canoe finished and out of the garage this fall, get through another tax season, and maybe by spring he'll have the prototype built, the bugs worked out, and the plans ready to go.
