I am carving foam seats for two kayaks. I and my tow sons will share the boats. They are in the 80-90 lb range. I, on the other hand push 180.
Could I carve a seat for me, mount with velcro and they just let them adjust for trim?
Part of the problem is one boat is an Arctic Tern 14 (boys primary boat, my fun boat) the other is an Osprey std (my primary boat when a boy is in the Tern). The shape of the hulls makes moving a seat from one to the other a problem.
May be three seats? One for each boat for me and a Tern seat for a smaller person.
Anybody out there have any ideas?
