There is an Outer Island that was at R2K2, but it didn't show up for R2K3. I was hoping it would be there, because I too am interested in it. But, after winning King plans at R2K3, I know that I'll be building one of those in the future. The King sure is a sweet kayak. It is much more playful than I thought it would be. The King did place 1st in the obstacle course. (Congrats to Don)

I am hoping to paddle an Outer Island in October. If you are patient, I'll write up a comparison then.
