: Minicell is not wood.
: So why do you think that an adhesive which works well with wood is going to
: work with this material, too?
: There are many plastic and rubber compounds which epoxy does not bond to. In
: some cases this is because the materials are more flexible than the epoxy,
: and they simply peel away.
: If the manufacturer recommends Pliobond, then use Pliobond. There are
: probably several other contact type cements which would work too. Since
: you are joining two layers of material which are very resistant to most
: solvents, you can not use a glue which hardens by solvent evaporation, so
: you NEED to use a glue which hardens by either a chemical reaction (like
: epoxy) or a contact cement. Contact cement is fast to apply, and it needs
: little or no clamping.
: Hope this helps

What Paul said, and; probably 90% of the folks out there making seats and back rests are using Contact Cement..
Another good one is 3M Super77. And when you get done, be sure to turn it over and clean out the nozzle or that's the only time you will use it. ( get the small cans )
