This is an traditionel Swedish touring kayak. This type of kayak is well suited fore camping paddling. the freeboards are rather high so that the paddler is relatively dry and protected

The kayak is designed for rudder use it has some less lateral area aft. The rudder makes it track nicely and the kayak is not (with in reason) affekted by the wind. The hull is also relatively fast so the paddler can make longer tripps.

The builder is Micael Festin and the wood is Norwegian spruce and elm??
