The K1 deck plug *Pic*

Below is a picture of the plug for the deck mold. It should mate with the hull more precisely than my Razor Billed Auk bcause it was cut out on an NC router.

The circular machine behind and to the left weaves 50 spools of carbon tow into masts and CF spars. It is facinating to see it wrap all those thread at high speed. They get wet out by hand, vacuum wraped and baked. Apparently rich guys with sail boats can't get enough CF components for their boats because the company keeps the weaving machine running all day.
