I have to agree with Chip. It looks like an excuse to but a new tool. But do men really need an excuse for a new tool??? I think not!!! The only use that I could rationalize would be for scarfing a few joints for long strips. I used the block on the end of a belt sander for that and it worked great!!! If you don't have a belt sander... NOW you have a reason for a new tool!!!
