: I built this 12-foot yak using the sizes of Auk but a more rounded version.
: The tracking was terrible until I added the skeg you see in the picture.
: Now I can relax and enjoy the scenery instead of fighting the boat while
: paddling. I used oak for my skeg and epoxied it to the boat and put a
: reinforcing epoxy radius around the edges and it has held up fine for two
: years now.
