Jack,

Thanks for the descriptions and images - sounds like you are having a blast.

I'm curious why CF is used for the mold - is it for thermal expansion match to the CF boat during cure? CF was long considered an enabling material, which means it was so expensive that the only reason to use it was because the product performance could be obtained no other way. I guess with the comparatively cheap CF currently available, even esthetics could be an enabling property.
