Hey Shawn,
Is this rust colored denier fabric urethane coated? Or could it be used for spray skirts?

I recently completed a storage cover / skirt out of 3mm neoprene. It turned out OK I guess, but still had a little bunchieness over the top of the coaming. I tried to make a half skirt with the same so so results and not convinced that I'll be happy with the end results of a spray skirt. So I've been contemplating a nylon / denier skirt which would be easy to sew compared to glueing the neoprene.

I have a double so rolling will not be an issue. The skirt will be used to keep rain / hull splashing out of the cockpit. Especially that the fall season is around the corner.

Please share the "heat sealable" aspect of this fabric. Does this mean that it seals to itself? The inside coating to itself? With an iron?

Any recomendations on this rust fabric or other coated products?
Thanks...DAVE
