Look at Joe Greenley's recent post for a simple and elegant pull tab solution.http://www.kayakforum.com/cgi-bin/Building/index.cgi/noframes/read/88301

Also look at the finish and quality of woodwork. I am jealous!

: Good afternoon everyone.

: I thought Andy Waddington's post on Monday had a great idea with using
: hardwood balls for flush anchor rigging.

: I would like to use the same idea for flush hatch "finger-pulls" by
: using the "rare-earth" magnets and a round style (1 1/2")
: brass pull (see photo) backed by the hardwood balls as he described on his
: webpage.

: Has anyone used this type of finger pull and/or are there any major snafu's
: why I should NOT use this type of brass pull?

: Thanks guys
