Wow, those are pretty slick. And at 3.50 a pop they might be worth trying. The only thing is that my paddling cronies already think I'm a little off-beat for building my own boats, if I show up looking like a refugee from a candy factory, well...

I was also thinking of a way to incorporate the drybag rollover type seal in lieu of a zipper. The entry slit you described sounds promising if i can't source a good zipper reasonably.
