This Redfish Spring Run weighs 42 pounds, fully outfitted. I probably made the cockpit area a little too solid, but I wanted a boat that could take some abuse.
I know exactly what you mean about wanting a boat that a beginner will feel comfortable in.
John
: Wow...that's a clean looking boat John! I'm hoping that my second attempt
: will have ironed out many of the blatant mistakes I made that are
: preventing me from producing a final result like that. I'll have to keep
: the Redfish in mind when deciding on my next boat. I'm looking for
: something shorter and lighter, and wider than the Night Heron....one that
: my girlfriend might dare to try out. Any idea on the final weight of the
: Redfish?
