OK Mt. Park is the place where I spent my first overnight by kayak in September of 1998. I had just bought a Seaward Ascente before they left Summerland for Ladysmith. The Park is a large chunk of rock accessible only by hiking/horseback/mountain biking trails and by water.
Along the lakeshore there are a number of small campsites ranging from 2 tentsites to 20 tentsites in size. Our most recent trip was July 20th for an overnight camp out with the Kelowna and Canoe Kayak Club for a navigation course.
Since the rock of the park falls right into the lake it has a very "coastal" feel and I sometimes find myself looking around for harbour seals.
Attached is one of the many photos from the Castanet website, this one accredited to Don McPhail.
