I'm outfitting my OI now - working on the hatches. I talked to some other builders who glassed the hull before starting the deck, and had no problems.

All the big names on this board will pretty much agree that (with some obvious exceptions - like you can't build your hatches until you strip your deck) the order of many things can be altered. There's no "one" way to do it, there are just personal preferences.

so, the choice is yours. Glass it now, or glass it later. Part of your decsiion should be based on the quality of the job you believe you did. If you have weak glue joints or spots that are likely to pop off the forms, you may want to go ahead and get it glassed. But, if you do, be sure to keep it on the forms so that you don't have seam alignment problems later. That, or glass both the exterior and interior so that it won't move.... much.
