I've flipped the hull over and am getting ready to start stripping the deck. (No strips on yet, so I'll save pics for later)
That leaves me with a nice straight strongback left over. I might build another kayak after this one. I'm just wondering if anyone has any good ideas on storing a strongback for later use. I've come up with these:
1. Bolt it to the ceiling of my shop (sounds like a lot of work - ceiling has sheetrock and is 10+ feet up)
2. Lay it outside (current option). Its inside the drip line of the roof and its made from exterior grade pressboard.
3. Trash it and make a new one when I need it.
4. Loan it out and hope to get it back in usable shape.
5. Give it away (its probably a pain to ship - I'm in Vancouver WA)
Any other thoughts or experiences with the above ideas would be appreiciated.
Thanks,
Steve Rasmussen
