Hello Joe,
I just finished my hatch lips last weekend. I used 6 layers of CF twill 6 oz. with West System Epoxy. In it's rough form it was 5/16" thick. After sanding and shaping it was about 1/4" thick. There is no give at all with this lay-up. I know others have used regular 6 oz., I'm sure the more experienced will comment too.
Good luck......Robert
I just finshed the fiberglass hatch lips, i used 6 layers of raka 5.5 0z
: cloth.
: After it was done it was about 1/16 thick and rather flemsee. Is that normal?
: From what I read that is what most of you all use, I'm I wrong? Is that
: strong enough, or I'm I beging paranoid? Thanks for any comments!
