There's no one or "right" way to do any of this. I do it as Ken described. For most people, the initial stages of strip building are a wood working chore, which is actually is the most enjoyable. Then they go into the glassing stage that encompasses chemicals, mixing and filling which is a whole different set of building chores. Many times, once the "entire" boat is stripped, wood strips, planes, knives etc. can all be put away, the shop cleaned and prepaired for the glassing work. And... once you start glassing, you might as well fill the weave with subsiquent coats and all that stuff as well. So, for most people, it's nice to do all the woodworking stuff in one continuous journey and not break the flow to go into glassing.
