Yes, glassed and 2 or more fill coats (I usually do3-4 to allow sanding off without hitting too much glass). I just worry about a trapped puddle penetrating over a long period. Epoxy is permeable to some degree, and there was a post with blackened wood around hatches, where the hatch was probably left strapped down over wet gasket. Again, there are lots of glued minicell seats, braces, and bulkheads out there, probably no problem, but wondering if any approach is better than another- full gluing, edges or spot only?
