Hi Normand. The way I look at it; you can take just about any boat and alter the cockpit/seating arrangements. I did an open cockpit on a regular double (see picture). If this is your first boat it would probably be smarter to go with one of the previous suggestions though. Here's another shot of it www.redfishkayak.com/r2k3/images/78.jpg

It is 20' 8" in length and a bit of a wet ride but lots of fun.
