Strip: what does a first time builders boat sell for?

when i finish my first boat i will probably build another. if i should sell this first one what is a good price range to ask. I know it depends on quailty looks and crafstmanship. but assume its going to float and was otherwise put together by a novice craftsman.

ive seen 5k-6k$ on internet websites new and expert built, and ive seen 400$ on ebay used and unknown.

any ideas or stories?
