As the poster of the 90,000th message, you are the proud (I'm sure) winner of a trophy of fine western red cedar milled to exacting proportions and then broken at one end. To call it a stirring stick would be to demean its significance. This is mounted in a circular piece of amber (simulated) encapsulating items significant to building kayaks such as wood chips and a couple staples and maybe short bits of copper wire. This trophy is suitable for engraving, but you must first remove it from its protective wrapping which bares a striking resemblance to a paper cup.

You may retrieve your trophy at the Guillemot Kayaks headquarters (don't bump your head coming down the stairs) at your convenience. If this particular trophy has been thrown away before you come, I'm sure there will be more similar ones fallen behind my workbench somewhere. If you can not make the trip to Connecticut, I'm sure you have similar items which you could use to mark this momentous occasion.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this bulletin board. It never occurred to me that such a great community would develop. BTW, I'm saving up a truly spectacular prize for the 100,000th message.
